Problem Faced :
One of our clients has registered two domains with Net4India. When they wanted to transfer the domain to our associate domain registrar crazy domains, they couldn't execute. We tried to get the Authentication Code from the Net4India portal, but the process was not working and we were not able to change the domain name server (DNS). We didn't receive an email response as well. To our surprise, Net4India was permanently closed. We also found that a lot of people were searching for a way to contact and was struggling to get the auth code from Net4India. We couldn't find a way to renew our domains in Net4India. Their contact number +91-11-45980000 had no response, similarly, their official emails firstname.lastname@example.org & email@example.com didn't respond.
Solution We Found :
When we checked our client's domains, they both were Indian domains. ie ( .in and co.in).So we reached out to the Indian .in domain registrar. An email was sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.Suprisingly we got an immediate response. Meanwhile, we have learned from a blog post, posted on net4India portal by a person who got his Auth code from Net4India, that he sent a mail to email@example.com with CRN ID (username) and was successful. We followed the method and it worked. We received the mail and was able to log in to our client's domain control panel account. We were able to click get “Auth-Code”.This time we received an email with Auth Code from firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have successfully initiated the domain transfer and we will update once the domain is renewed with our domain panel. Hope this blog will be helpful to the people who are struggling to transfer the domains from net4India.
